Broken Bones.......

A man and his son walked along side a wide and busy highway. The man told his son the dangers of the highway, and that no one has ever crossed it without injury. The Father continued, speaking about the other side of the highway. He advised Jr that it may look good, and there may be seemingly beautiful things there, but all that glitters is not gold. At that moment, the young man's eye was caught by something sparkling on the other side of the highway. He took off running after it, and just before setting foot on the other side.......BAM!! He was hit by a car, leaving him with multiple broken bones in his body. His Father had not enough time to fully educate his boy on all aspects and realities of life.

The youngan survived, but had no interest in getting back to his Father. For all the shiny things were too great to leave. So, he healed, but twistedly so. Having no one to set his bones after the accident, the bones healed as they were. Deformed he was; no longer resembling anything of his Father. He didn't care, as long as he had his things. The Father watched for days, weeks, months, and years, as his son went further and further down.

Eventually, the young man longed for home; his Father. He knew that the only way he could see his Father again was by crossing that highway again. He sat by the highway, for day, weeks, months, watching the cars fly by, trying to identify a rhythm, a pattern, a trend, by which he could time the cars for safe crossing. As he studied and studied, he could see his Father on the other side, awaiting his return. He watched his Dad, standing tall, upright, in good health, as he himself should be. He contemplated, the only way to resemble his Father at this point would be to break his bones again and have them set aright. He pondered the pain, the time for healing, and thought about all the shiny things he'd have to leave behind. He abandoned the mission.

Mankind is the son.......

The only way to fix the system is to break the system, and set it aright.
