I reach a point where I am in need of advice. Questions about life, its potentials and its dangers, I have. Two men approach to assist. Both men have behind them, the roads which they've traveled to be where they currently stand. Old Cat feels that in his age, he's gained much wisdom. His road is straight, so straight that you could see almost its beginning. He feels that Young Cat, has nothing to offer because he's not as old and aged.
I look over to Young Cat, and see that the road behind him was winging, curving, and even going back on itself at points. I questioned as to why his road was in such a state. He gave me his history of trial, tribulation, error, and obstacle. He shared the lessons learned, all while Old Cat stood in silence, hearing things of which he could not speak.

Both men have behind them, the roads which they've traveled to be where they currently stand. Old Cat's road is a straight shot. Young Cat's is a balled up phone cord, dropped on the floor.
Whose advice do I cling to?
In my initial thought, I knew I'd go with the "winding road" over Old Cat and his straight line. BUT why not invite Old Cat & Young Cat to sit down and we all learn from each other. Young Cat has much to offer through his experiences, and so does Old Cat, through habits that may have helped him to avoid some of what Young Cat has gone through.
Life is about relationship and we all are related! WE ALL have stories to tell and lessons to teach. NEVER let ANYONE tell you that you CANNOT be of any value to a situation. Not one of us knows it all, but if enough of us get together to be of use to one another, we'd never find ourselves lacking or in want.......
HAPPY HUMP DAY NIGHT Y'ALL!! I LOVE YOU ALL, EACH AND EVERY ONE!!!
