It is written in Revelation 12:7-12, "Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
'Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.'
Spawn of a conversation with Richard Atkinson Jr, this is. Satan was kicked out of Heaven, is furious and holds nothing but hatred toward God and His Creation. Look at our world, it's current state and ways. Satan is about nothing but upending, turning over, corrupting, and destroying all things of, for, about, and by God. He has been throwing an evil tantrum all his days condemned to earth. Our society is full of his influence. Senseless crimes are all devil-influenced, yet if you know the Word and all of what it speaks, these days were expressed to us centuries ago. This is simply further proof that the Word comes to pass. Again, Satan is furiously exacting his anger on all mankind, all of God's Creation.
In his tantrum, Satan clouds judgement, let alone the skies of our minds, hearts, and souls in effort to block out the Light of God in our lives. Allowing ourselves to be desensitized and become complacent with the current state of this world guarantees missing the boat, in terms of "being in that number." Many may think that their sin is too great. Yes, sin forms a barrier between you and God. Satan would have you believe you are condemned to the same extent as he. He would have you believe that the void caused by your sin is not traversable, and that God is done with you. This is his design, that you be defeated and choose anything and everything to believe, except God. REACH THROUGH YOUR SIN, AND TOUCH GOD'S SAVING GRACE, JESUS CHRIST!! You will realize that the void was as much an obstacle as an ant to an elephant. Whom would you choose, KNOWING FULL WELL who actually wins in the end? Why do you think Paul says, "Count it all joy......."?
The future has been told to us! We know, through the Word of God that His Word will prevail! Now, knowing the future, what or whom will you allow to influence your life and actions more?? The one who hates you and wants you to die alongside him? Or, the ONE who gives life eternally?? We CANNOT treat Satan, like some parents treat their kids when throwing a tantrum, in letting them have their way. Just to shut them up, some folks give in to their kids over and over and over. This does nothing but corrupt the order of the home. Again, THIS is what Satan wants, his way, to the detriment of the order God established in the beginning.
Unfortunately, this will continue to worsen as we move closer to the return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It sucks, but it is what it is. All I can do is pray that I have the strength and faith enough to withstand the coming days and times, as Satan's tantrum gets worse. I can also speak up to you all, in saying Christ is, and always has been, our only hope and salvation. Jesus came and drew the line, plain as day, for us. There is no fence on this line, for us to straddle. It's either Christ or Satan, that you choose to serve. We already know that there is only hot or cold in this matter; no lukewarm.
You will ultimately allow Satan's tantrum to drive you into one of two directions; submission or salvation. In terms of dealing with bullies, my mother always told us, "STAND YOUR GROUND!!" When dealing with the bully Satan, the ground on which I stand is the Word of God, Jesus Christ, my Salvation.
