I poured my hope into a little blue plastic bowl, and set it out on the back porch of our home, in Eight Mile, AL. It was mid-summer and scorching hot.
From there it evaporated far into the unreachable sky and into areas of atmosphere unknown. Somewhere, up there, it gathered, grouped, "gaggled" with hopes of its kind.
Clouds were formed, and I've watched them on many days, floating by. I wondered when it might return to me with that for which I've hoped, for so long. The clouds have darkened a time or two, but nothin. Still dry.
This drought has lasted many, many years since the day I placed my hope on the porch to do its thing. Yet, I still live, believe, and know in my heart that God has not forgotten me nor the vision He gave me.
For over four months now, the clouds have been darkening. Today, it started to rain!
I'M LOVING IT!
HAPPY SATURDAY Y'ALL!! I LOVE YOU ALL, EACH AND EVERY ONE!!!
Know that your hope will soon rain down on you! Trust and keep your faith in God! He will NEVER leave nor forsake you!!
