If the shoulda comes back, then what do you do?? We all can look back at our pasts and find several situation where we feel we should have done differently, chosen differently, or thought differently. Right?
So, pick a particular one of these instances, and ask yourself, "what do I do this time?" The only reason I ask is that I have learned that in some of those past situations, we've decided against things that would have been great for us, providing us peace, love, and support that our hearts so crave. If YOUR "shoulda" comes back today, then what will you do?
Just now, I am reminded of a dream that I might have mentioned before at some point. I found myself on the edge of a cliff, looking down at a river of lava, flowing fiercely and flowing HOT! I was nudged and went over the edge. The voice of the One who pushed me whispered, "it's ok". As I splashed down, I felt no pain. I passed on into a place of peace and quiet, and so forth and so on. My point is this; when I find myself facing an old "shoulda", I feel as though I am on the edge again. Yet, this time the choice is mine. There is no one to nudge me. The decision is 100% mine. I choose to swan dive!
I've learned to trust my dreams. The dream mentioned above took place in '95, at a time when I stood face to face with a decision that unfortunately became a "shoulda". Not one of us is able to travel back in time to change the courses of our lives. We go through all things for reasons known and unknown, hopefully gaining enough insight and wisdom to be prepared for the day when the "shoulda" shows up.
Many of us are standing on the edge of greatness, right now. Listen to your hearts! Know your heart's desires and needs! Our hearts are the best guides we have through life, especially the hearts that hold God dear. He speaks to and through our hearts. The moment you hear Him say, "It's okay", JUMP!!
HAPPY SUNDAY EVERYBODY!!! I LOVE YOU ALL, EACH AND EVERY ONE!!!
