Last week was a tough one for many of us. The losses suffered were great, hurtful, and unexpected. To all my brothers and sisters in mourning, I pray for you. I pray for your hearts, minds, and souls; that there may be peace found within. Let your emotions flow and fight back no tears. May the release of sorrow make room for the rejoicing. Rejoice in knowing that our loved ones are okay. Rejoice in knowing that they've earned a place in eternity. Rejoice in knowing that in them now, can't be found any anxiety, worry, sickness or pain. They are TRULY free!! Imagine them in the place of perpetual best days.
I think on those who were lost last week, whom I personally knew, and my mind won't allow me to see anything but their smiles and goodness. I imagine hearing their voices saying, "I'm good B." I pray that you all have the strength to continue standing and moving forward in and with love, as you process these happenings. Let their best days become your only memories, and fuel in your heart to be decent, loving, and kind human beings. I pray that there is comfort for you, knowing that your loved ones are in a better and brighter place where "Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting Light, and your days of sorrow will end (Isaiah 60:20)."
I pray for you. I pray for you. I simply pray for you. Amen.
