After a while of rolling, I ask, "How's it looking man?" Man responds, "Lookin good boss!" Yet, a strap has come loose. We keep it moving. Later on, I ask the same question of man. He says again, "Looking good boss!" This goes on for thousands of miles, until I hear a big crash. Pulling over and stopping as quickly as I can, I find my cargo off the trailer and busted up, in the middle of the highway. I look at man, as he's texting on his phone, consumed by whatever/whomever. I ask, "What we lookin like, man?" "Lookin good boss!", he says.
Crazy, I know, but this thought would not let me go.......back to sleep, that is! Anyway, faith in man won't serve you as well as faith in God. Man will often tell you that things are fine when they are not, that he has done what he says but has not, or that he hasn't done something, but has . Man does not love or care for you as much as God does. Man knows not what God knows. In choosing to have faith in anything or anyone, I choose faith in God, not faulted and flawed man. Man will lie to you, but God will never withhold truth. God protects your life, your home, your family, and your heart, while man would open the back door and allow robbers in, to steal, kill, and destroy all that you hold near and dear.
Are all men trifling? No, but I choose to place faith and trust in perfection, rather than imperfection. I choose my backing to be One who cannot lie or be corrupted by the ways of this world; One whom I know to be 100% real and true. My Faith is in God, and those whom He directs onto my path and into my life for HIS purpose.
